The National Stud in Newmarket have released 2020 prices for its five-strong roster, with new addition ADVERTISE heading the roster at a fee of £25,000.

ADVERTISE was successful at Gr.1 level on three occasions.  As a two-year old he became the first British trained horse to win the Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes in over two decades. He progressed further and his three-year old career was highlighted by victories in the Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot in record time before defeating the older horses in the Gr.1 Prix Maurice de Gheest.

Stud Director Tim Lane said “ADVERTISE possessed the perfect combination of speed, precocity and toughness. His three Gr.1 victories cemented him as one of the best sprinters of his generation and we are very confident he has physical attributes to be the complete package for breeders.”

The second new addition to the roster is Gr.1 Classic winner FLAG OF HONOUR who will command a fee of £4,500 for his first season at stud. A tough and consistent performer, the son of GALILEO had his highlight victory in the Gr.1 Irish St. Leger. His other career highlights include victory in the Gr.3 Eyrefield Stakes as a two-year old, the Gr.2 Curragh Cup and the Gr.3 Irish St. Leger Trial Stakes.

“FLAG OF HONOUR is a Gr.1 Classic winning son of the great GALILEO. He was versatile horse and a Group winning two-year old that developed into a leading stayer. He also gave some top-class performances at the highest level over one mile and a quarter. He is beautifully bred and is a very exciting dual-purpose prospect for breeders.”  Tim stated.

ACLAIM, winner of the Gr.1 Prix de la Foret who stands under the Avenue Bloodstock banner, and TIME TEST a dual Gr.2 and multiple Gr.1 placed son of Dubawi both remain unchanged at £9,500 and £8,500 respectively.  Both stallions will have first foals enter the sales ring this season.

“ACLAIM has been very well supported throughout his first two seasons at stud. He represents excellent value at his current fee and we are confident his first foals will be well received at the upcoming sales. TIME TEST has also received incredible support in his first two years, he has covered some exceptional mares and his exciting first crop of foals include siblings to 2019 Gr.1 Classic winners STAR CATCHER and LOGICIAN.  Breeders seem very pleased with his first foals and we look forward to seeing them sell over the coming weeks.” Stated Tim.

RAJASINGHE, a son of Choisir whose career highlight came when winning the Gr.2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot in record time, will remain at £5,000 for the 2020 season.

Tim said “RAJASINGHE was an incredibly fast two-year old and is a beautiful physical. Rebel Racing have placed tremendous faith in him to date and we are very much looking forward to seeing his first foals next year.”

ADVERTISE, TIME TEST and RAJASINGHE will stand under October 1st Special Live Foals terms while ACLAIM and FLAG OF HONOUR will stand at Live Foal Terms.
