The Jockey Club’s educational and breeding arm, the National Stud, are recruiting for a Bloodstock & Sales Administrator to join the team.
This role will see the successful candidate work as part of a small team to assist in all aspects of Bloodstock & Sales administration. Reporting to the Nominations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stallion covering schedule and relevant nomination paperwork, assisting with all aspects of our large sales consignment from entries, pre-sale veterinary documentation to hospitality. The role will include assisting in other areas during busy periods such as Nominations, Marketing and various other Stud administration duties as required on a busy boarding farm.
The successful candidate will:
• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Have extensive knowledge of the Thoroughbred breeding industry
• Have a working knowledge of the HBLB Code of Practice and NSFA Breeding Regulations
• Possess outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work at weekends, as and when necessary.
