You’ll find the answers to our most frequently asked questions here

Q:  Is booking essential?

A:  Pre-booking is essential and easy to do.  Click HERE to book online with Discover Newmarket, or call 0344 748 9200

Q:  Is the tour taken on foot?

A:   Some of the tour does involve walking around parts of the stud, but only for short periods.

Q:  Do you have disabled access?

A:  Yes.  There is disabled parking available in front of the coffee shop, and further spaces in the main car park.  The coffee shop is fully accessible for wheel chair users, and our tour vehicles have ramp access.

Q:  Can I come to the Stud and drive/walk around by myself without taking the guided tour?

A:  No.  We are a fully working stud farm, and visitors must be accompanied by one of our tour guides at all times.

Q:  Can I come to the coffee shop without taking a tour?

A:  Yes you can.  Our coffee shop is open year round from 9.30am – 4pm (but closed over the festive period).

Q:  Will I get muddy/dirty on the tour?

A:  It is possible!  Please bear in mind when choosing your outfit for the day that we are a working stud farm, and that means we do have mud, dirt and poo!  Sensible footwear is advisable and outdoor clothing suitable for the British weather.

Q:  Can I bring my dog?

A:  No, unfortunately members of the public are not allowed to have their dogs on stud grounds.
