Guided tours of the Stud take place daily from 1st March to 30th September inclusive, during October half-term week and on Newmarket autumn race days.
New for 2008:
- Tours before all Newmarket Night race meetings, starting at 4pm
- Personal private tours available by prior arrangement
Individuals, small groups and large parties are offered the chance to see behind the scenes of one of the most prestigious stud farms in the country.
What you see will depend on the time of year, but each tour takes in the superb Stallion Unit, with an opportunity to view the stallions in residence, plus the Foaling Unit and Nursery Yards. You will see mares and foals in their paddocks and younger visitors will be delighted by our resident miniature Shetland ponies.
Each tour lasts approximately 75 minutes - visitors are advised to arrive 15 minutes before the tour is due to start.
There is plenty of free parking for cars and coaches. The Tours Reception offers full facilities for the disabled.
Book today – it’s a great visit for all the family.
