Bahamian Bounty has enjoyed plenty of success with the NORTHERN DANCER line in particular the emerging TRY MY BEST branch which has given him the Naahy (Gr. 3) out of a Marju mare. Royal Applause and Acclamation look to suit nicely, particularly as it creates line-breeding to Bold Ruler.
The speed influence of DANZIG creates a strong cross; not only has Bahamian Bounty’s successful son, Pastoral Pursuits, sired the top-class sprinter Rose Blossom (Gr 3) from a Emarati mare but, Cadeaux Genereux has sired a number of stakes winners on the cross including the juvenile Gr 2 winners, Cairns and Land Of Dream, out of GREEN DESERT daughters. DANEHILL, via his many sons, will create an attractive cross. DAYJUR, the Champion sprinter, is proving to be a significant broodmare sire and looks ideal for Bahamian Bounty, particular as he holds a line of Hyperion close up in his pedigree.
The NUREYEV strain has also proved to be a stakes cross for Bahamian Bounty; Red Cadeaux (Gr 3) is out of a Peintre Celebre mare, while Bahamian Babe (L) is out of a Wolfhound daughter and the Gr 1-placed Gallagher holds Rudimentary as his dam-sire. Speedy daughters of Polar Falcon, and his sons Pivotal, Stravinsky and Fasliyev all to look to create this strong cross. The SADLER’S WELLS line could also be worth trying, particularly as Cadeaux Genereux sired the Gr 1 sprinter May Ball on the cross.
The NIJINSKY branch is proven with the Cadeaux Genereux sire-line. Bahamian Bounty sired Dubaian Gift out of a Shadeed mare while Cadeaux Genereux produced both Eyeq (Gr 3), from a Caerleon mare, and Manzila (L), from a Royal Academy daughter.
The Most Welcome mare, Star, proved to be dynamite for Bahamian Bounty as she produced the two Gr 1 sprinters Pastoral Pursuits and Goodricke. Mares from the BE MY GUEST strain could be attractive options. NIGHT SHIFT mares have also given him useful winners and Cadeaux Genereux sired a Gr 1 winner out of an Alzao mare, so LYPHARD line mares will also be well suited.
The NASRULLAH line has proved to be a strong source of success for the Cadeaux Genereux sire-line. Via the NEVER BEND branch, Bahaman Bounty sired Paradise Isle (L) out of a Rousillon daughter. Reference Point mares have proved to cross well with both Bahamian Bounty and his sire as both Gr 3 winner Hugs Dancer and Berk The Jerk are bred on the cross.
The BLUSHING GROOM branch has produced success for Bahamian Bounty. Queen’s Grace (L) is out of a Pursuit of Love mare while Bounty Box (L) is out of a mare by Bin Ajwaad (a son of Rainbow Quest). Mares by Nashwan and Groom Dancer are all from this sire-line.
The MR PROSPECTOR line has also proved successful. Machiavellian is the dam-sire to Bahamian Bounty’s Babadana (L), his son Vettori, is the dam sire to Cadeaux Genereux’s Gr 3 winner Bal De La Rose. Cadeaux Genereux has several other stakes winners on the Mr Prospector cross which includes Major Cadeaux (Gr 2). Kingmambo and Gone West strains both suit Bahamian Bounty’s pedigree. He has sired two of his smartest performers from AHONOORA line mares; Mr Napper Tandy (Gr 2) is out of an Inchinor mare (reverse cross of Notnowcato (Gr 1)), while Topatoo is out of a Topanoora daughter. Indian Ridge and his sons Namid, Compton Place and Sleeping Indian all look to suit as broodmare-sires.
The DANTE sire-line, via Derring-Do, has also produced Fareer (L) out of a Dominion mare and Terra di Tuffi (L), a daughter of Pastoral Pursuits, holds Daring March as her broodmare sire.
Bahamian Bounty is line-bred to the HYPERION line, so it is worth adding to this speed influence. Daughters of Efisio, Forzando, Mummy’s Pet and Fayruz all look to suit well. He also sired the smart Lady Links (L) to daughter of Electric, a son of BLAKENEY.
