Passing Glance : Introduction | | | |
Multiple Group-winning Son of Polar Falcon
PASSING GLANCE improved with every
race from 2 to 5 years, winning 7 times,
including at Group 2 and Group 3 level
and was placed on 12 occasions. In 2003
he was 2nd in the Gr.2 Celebration Mile at
Goodwood, beating Group 1 winners/
performers Tillerman, Where Or When and
Hurricane Alan. His easy 31/2 length win in
the Gr.2 Darley Oettingen-Rennen and his
impressive victory in the 2004 Vodafone
Diomed Stakes Gr.3 at Epsom, where he
made all to beat a quality field including,
Gateman, Checkit, Vespone and Duck
Row, were proof of his true class as a miler.
On the track he was a brave, tough horse
who had plenty of pace and would just
keep going; performing well on all types
of ground. These qualities, combined with
his correct conformation, make him an
ideal dual-purpose stallion prospect.
Jockey Martin Dwyer, said of the horse
"I have yet to sit on a horse with such
blistering pace over a mile as Passing
Glance".
Retired to stud in 2005, PASSING
GLANCE's fertility is excellent and his first
foals have pleased breeders.
