By Road:
The National Stud is situated 2 miles south west of Newmarket, next door to the July Racecourse (same exit from Racehorse Statue Roundabout as the July Racecourse) and at the junction of the A1303 (A14) and A1304 (A11). After taking the exit from the roundabout the National Stud automatic gates are immediately on your left. The main gates to the National Stud are unlocked during the day, however are automatic and require vehicles to drive up close to them in order for the gates to open.
If you are coming from the A14 Eastbound, leave the A14 at Junction 35, take the A1303 exit to Newmarket/Cambridge/Burwell/B1102. Travel for approximately 5miles and then take the first exit at the Racehorse Statue Roundabout. The National Stud automatic gates are immediately on your left.
If you are coming from the A14 Westbound, leave the A14 at Junction 39, exit onto B1506 toward Newmarket. Continue onto A1304, passing through the town centre. Continue for a mile and the National Stud is on the right, fourth exit at the Racehorse Statue Roundabout. The National Stud automatic gates are immediately on your left.
If travelling from the M11/A11 exit onto London Road/A1304 toward Newmarket. Continue along the A1304 and then take the second exit at the Racehorse Statue Roundabout. The National Stud automatic gates are immediately on your left.
