The National Stud is situated within easy reach of Tattersalls Sales complex, and accommodates temporary boarding of horses before sales and newly purchased horses waiting to be transported to their new home.
For larger consignors, the use of whole yards during the sales can be arranged in advance with the Stud Operations Manager.
Accommodation is also available for staff travelling with sales horses.
Details of the requirements for boarding mares and mares “walking–in” are available on request from the stud office along with Freedom From Infection Forms and mare particular forms for National Stud stallions.
