Winter Lecture Series

A series of lectures aimed at those wishing to improve their knowledge and understanding of equine health, wellbeing and winter ailments. The lectures will be delivered by experts from Dodson and Horrell, Newmarket Equine Hospital and O.A. Curtis and Sons.

Thursday 19th November: “Equine First Aid”
A two hour lecture including "Wound assessment and treatment" and a Bandaging demonstration.

Thursday 26th November: “Feeding for the Winter”
An hour and a half lecture focusing on feeding for warmth and weight maintenance; and feeding the geriatric.

Thursday 3rd December: “Feet and the Lower Leg - Winter Worries”
An hour and half lecture featuring Mud Fever and Seasonal Farriery Concerns.

This series of lectures will be held in the Joan Westbrook Lecture Theatre at the National Stud, starting at 6pm.
The fee for attending the complete series of 3 lectures is £60, or £20–£25 to attend individual lectures.
