Lycetts to sponsor 2008 Lecture Series
Lycetts, the insurance broker, is to sponsor the now well established National Stud Evening Lecture Programme.
Lycetts, whose name is synonymous with insurance throughout the rural economy and the bloodstock industry, will support the unique programme which is open to both students and members of the public.
The lectures are delivered by renowned experts in their fields and topics include the veterinary management of breeding stock, equine behaviour, farriery and current issues of concern within the Thoroughbred breeding industry. The lectures run from February to July and not only form an important part of the National Stud Diploma syllabus, but are also open to any members of the public who may be interested in any single lectures or who want to sign up for the whole programme.
Lycetts Hamilton, the broker’s bloodstock division, sees this sponsorship as an excellent opportunity to align itself with this side of the Stud’s activities.
