More VIP Visitors to National Stud
The National Stud, in Newmarket, is proving to be a major attraction for high profile overseas visitors, wishing to get a feel for the Eastern region and to gain some understanding of Thoroughbred breeding operations.
Earlier in June, a delegation of politicians from Singapore visited the Stud with Jim Paice, MP. On Friday [23rd June], HE Sr. Ricardo Varela, The Ambassador of Uruguay, brought his colleague Mr Ignacio Vilaseca for a tour of the Stud. They were accompanied by their wives and, met by Tina Dawson, National Stud Commercial General Manager, and Jim Paice, MP.
A further VIP visit is planned for next month when an inward visitation of delegates from the Gulf States will be including the National Stud on their itinerary
